A couple key things you should know about me and how I wound up here:
1) I just bought an iPhone, so I’m pretty aware of the fact that I’m all fancy-pants and high-tech now.
2) I turn 29 in less than 3 weeks.
3) Believe it or not, I’m looking forward to turning 30. I’m going to make an effort to not rush through the next year and attempt to ground myself at least a little, so I wanted a fun way to chronicle the countdown.
So here I am, and here I’ll stay from July 2, 2011 to July 2, 2012. And every day of the last year of my 20s, I will take a picture or find a quote or have a thought, and I will share it here. No big, flowery, overly-verbose blog posts. Simple. (I sure hope I can figure out how to do simple.)
And to be clear, I may not always succeed in POSTING daily, but I assure you, I will have something to represent each day of the year and post these magical tidbits as often as my ADD allows me to remember. Deal?
